The Lion’s Club of Darjeeling distributed around 150 kgs . of Rice, Dal, Aata and Salt to 51 beneficiaries belonging to the poor and weaker sections of society from
11 : 00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on 14th January ,2020 at Ajit Mansions , Nehru Road Darjeeling.
The above mentioned program was carried our under the program ” The Rice Bag Challenge “, One Multiple One Activity and coincided with both the birth anniversary of Melvin Jones the founder of Lions Club International and the start of the festival of Makar Sankranti.
