Lions Club of Siliguri Greater Femina today visited the poor and under privileged people in Ward No 41 at ITI Road, Bottle Company More on the 6th Day of the “Worldwide week of service to fight hunger” from the 8th to the 14th January and “One Multiple one District” activity. Members spent quality time with the under privileged and poor children, men and women. The hungry children were fed nutritious khichari, high calorie sweets and fruits. They were also educated upon basic hygiene and sanitation requirements. They were also asked to keep themselves clean and keep the area around them clean. Almost 500 people were served today.
