Several Projects were initiated by our club. Out of the two worth mentioning projects are stated below-
LIONS CLUB OF SILIGURI UNITY WINGS in collaboration with ACHARYA TULSI DIAGONISTIC CENTRE, Siliguri organized Health Check Up Camp at LITTLE MODELITE SCHOOL Gurung Nagar, Siliguri. More than 400 people took the advantage of the Health Check up Camp.Awareness campaign was also carried out at the site to inform the people about simple ways of taking care of oneself. Free test for checking Blood Sugar, Uric Acid & Creatinine was also done. Furthermore we strive towards spreading happiness to all and in contrast to this moto of ours, we have initiated the campaign of “FOOD FOR ALL.” We have implemented this program in Siliguri and its adjacent areas and tried to serve” THE NEEDY “with a motive to bind all in a single cord. During Navratri 108 girl child were worshipped and lunch Prasad was distributed to all along with books and stationary.
