“Upaahar” programme held on 4th January 2020 from 11:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m at the Sishu Bhawan run by the Missionaries of Charity, Darjeeling.
Members of the Lions Club of Darjeeling distributed new woollens, blankets, socks, beverages and snacks to the elderly, mentally challenged inmates of the Sishu Bhawan run by the Missionaries of Charity, Darjeeling. Environment-friendly degradable cloth bags produced by Lions Club were used.
The above-mentioned program was carried out under “Upaahar” One District One Activity. All the items distributed were sponsored by members of the club.
