On 2nd Oct 2020,our club 'Siliguri Unity Wings' had done 'Safai Abhiyan' on the roads of 'New Chumta Tea Estate' by cleaning the roads.We also gave jharus and a belcha keeping in mind about the cleanliness of the society.
On 2nd Oct,2020,our club ' Siliguri Unity Wings' had distributed old clothes among the workers of 'New Chumta Tea Estate'. The clothes were all of gents,ladies and kids.The activity was covered by 'SK Live'.
On 27th sept,2020 our club "Siliguri Unity Wings" had organised a program for girls in which food (Chowmein, Momos and Sweets) was provided to the girls. They were also gifted crayons on this occasion.
The whole event was sponsored by two of our members.The worlds daughters day was well spent by our club.
Lions club of Siliguri Terai Shakti had started a new permanent Homeo Centre inaugurated by our DG Ln Abhijeet Sen in the presence of PMCC Ln Nirmal Gidra, PDG Ln Sarwan Choudhary, FVDG Ln Shankar Das, Cabinet secretary Ln Bipul Chandra Das, RC Ln Sahil Gupta, ZC Ln Gaurav Sharma, members of our parent club Lions Club of Siliguri Terai and also the members of our club.
We also had Tree🌲 plantation programme along with Shakti Aahar in Adhikmaas in which we served around 100 people.
Today in Adhikmaas, We, Lions club of Siliguri Terai Shakti had distributed chocolate 🍫 chips and biscuits to 20 children in Amruth Aashram.
Lions club of Siliguri Terai Shakti had organised a campaign Shakti Aahar food for All under One District One Activity from September 2 to September 17 during shraddh paksha through Amruth and blossom team organization. In this campaign we have served 200 hungry people daily in different areas of Siliguri. Local News paper Janpath samachar, Bharat darpan, Himalaya darpan, Dainik Jagran and Sanmarg had covered our news.
